The challenge

A lot of people go grocery shopping and buy products that they already have at home without knowing it. Because of this people always throw away food that is past the expiration date. The big problem occuring is that people waste a lot of money and products while it could be avoided.

The solution

To solve this problem there will be an app that scans grocery receipts and puts the groceries in an inventory system. It will indicate the amount of products you should have at home. This app can furthermore be used when you are in a grocery store and don't know if you still have a certain product at home.
