The challenge

The problem we want to tackle now is loneliness among the elderly. Last week two of our team members went to a retirement home in Tilburg. They had some nice conversations with the elderly. They told us that they loved having so many activities at their retirement home. But the problem we found out actually, is that people that still live at home, are not approached for all the activities or they don’t know where to look for them.

The solution

The idea that we came up with is a monthly paper or flyer with all the activities that are organized in the region, right now focusing on Tilburg only. In the paper, there will be information about how to sign up for the activities. The paper / flyer will be sent to the elderly that are living at home.
