The challenge

We are addressing two problems: - The difficulty students have finding paid work at their level of skill without having to make major work commitments during their studies; - The high price (small) businesses pay for having experts perform one-off tasks

The solution

Our proposed solution is a gig economy platform (e.g. Upwork, Fiverr) that locally connects students with businesses for small jobs related to the student's field of study. This way, businesses can get one-off tasks done at a low price, and students can get work experience related to their studies.
