The challenge

We have found the problem in the scenario where drugs get put into drinks at parties and bars without one's consent. A problem that usually women tend to be a target for, but any gender is at risk. There are a few solutions already for this issue, but we think that there should be a more accessible and more straightforward way.

The solution

We would like to make straws that can indicate certain substances being in your drink. These straws would have to change colour in order to show a certain substance being present. This could be done through the use of special paper, which the straws could be made out of.
